Materials: Worsted weight, acrylic, or cotton, rug yarn, bulky yarn G hook or larger (what you like to work with best) Directions: Chain 4 Rnd. 1: 7dc in 4th chain from hook. Connect with slip stitch in top of chain 4. Rnd. 2: Ch 3, dc in same space. 2 dc in each st around. Connect with sl st in top of ch 3. (16 sts.) Rnd. 3: Repeat Rnd. 2. (32 sts.) Rnd. 4: Ch 3, dc in next st *2dc in next st, dc in next 2 sts. Repeat from * around. Connect with sl st in top of chain 3. Rnd. 5: Ch 3, dc in next 2 sts., * 2 dc in next st., dc in next 3 sts, repeat from * around. Rnd. 6: Ch 3, dc in each st around. Rnd. 7: Ch 3, dc in next 2 sts., * 2 dc in next st, dc in next 3 sts, repeat from * around. Connect with slip st in top of ch 3. Rnd. 8: Ch 3, dc in each st around. Continue working and increasing in this manner through Rnd. 11. Rnd. 12: Work the same as Rnd. 11. Continue working until you reach the size that you want. Finish: Ch 2, sc in each st around. Fasten off. Hint for best results in finishing is to leave ends long and weave the ends through the work using a tapestry needle.
