Materials: Scrap materials - cotton, cotton blends, felt, flannel. This is really simple toy to make. They would be fun to include with your Snuggles. Be sure to check with the shelter before including them. Instructions: 1. Cut 4" shapes, (squares, circles, etc.) using pinking shears. 2. Put two pieces of material (backsides together). 3. Sew together with 1/4" seam, leaving opening to fill with catnip. 4. Fill with catnip and stitch shut (Don't fill to full). I use a funnel to fill the toy and only leave a space just big enough for the funnel to fit into. I have found out with my cats that they can eventually ruin the toy so I don't put anything in them but the catnip. I don't put any decorations on them either. You can make them into cute mouse shapes and add the tails etc. but this can end up causing a problem with safety.
