For puppies and small breed dogs, follow Placecat or Napki(tte)n instructions substituting canine designs for feline.

Suggestions: freehand bone and dish shapes, outline a fire hydrant, or zigzag brief doggy phrases ('Bow Wow,' 'Dogs Rule,' 'ARF,' etc.).

Fasten off all stitching with backstitches and tie or apply seam sealer (Fray check). Check carefully for any remaining pins and remove any markings.
